With a foundation in network engineering and deep academic research in network science and complex systems, Allen applies universal principles of connectivity to transform programs across data networks, supply chain networks, utilities, transport networks, financial networks, or social networks. He harnesses this insight to design and transform interconnected, interdependent systems that drive efficiency, intelligence, and automation across entire enterprises.

Specialising in the integration of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), Allen has delivered mission-critical solutions across smart cities, advanced manufacturing and production, and critical infrastructure. His work leverages AI, edge computing, autonomous systems, and real-time analytics to bring intelligence to the edge—enabling faster, smarter, and safer decisions.

Throughout his career, Allen has held senior roles in leading technology firms, including serving as a global Industrial IoT Solutions Architect at Cisco. More recently, he has pioneered solutions involving autonomous drones, situational awareness platforms, and secure, scalable industrial connectivity—pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Academically accomplished, Allen holds degrees in ICT, Telecommunications Engineering, an MBA in Strategic Management, and a Masters in Digital Communications. He also spent a decade as an adjunct academic at a leading Australian business school, teaching strategic management and digital innovation.
